The board then approved a motion by Larry Schaefer, seconded by Lindsey Lewitzke, to adjourn to closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(a) for deliberation on a student expulsion case and § 19.85(1)(c) for consideration of administrator employment and employee compensation/benefits. The roll-call vote was recorded as five yeas, zero nays and two absent members.
The board entered closed session at 7:58 p.m. and returned from closed session at 8:51 p.m. The minutes closes with signatures and a note that these minutes are not official until approved at the June 17, 2026 board meeting.
