The board voted to permit a water‑line replacement across Ingalls Road subject to conditions documented on the permit form. The motion required proof of insurance, proper backfill and compaction to town standards, a Schedule‑80 sleeve across the roadway to avoid future digs, and inspection before final acceptance.
"I'll make a motion to go ahead and sign the give them permission to put a water line across the road on Ingalls Road per town specs," a board member said. The motion passed with a second and an agreement that staff will confirm contractor insurance and inspect the trench and restoration before issuing final approval.
