The D C Everest board authorized temporary use of facsimile signatures on district checks to bridge the period before new signature plates for newly elected officers are available. The resolution covers use of facsimile signatures for the President, Treasurer and Clerk from May 20, 2026 through June 30, 2026 and directs the clerk to mail certified copies of the resolution to district depositories.
The motion to adopt the facsimile signature resolution was made by Shannon Grabko and seconded by Larry Schaefer; the roll-call vote recorded five yeas, zero nays and two absentees. The resolution text in the minutes states: "BE IT RESOLVED the facsimile signatures of the President, Treasurer, and Clerk adopted May 20, 2026 be authorized for use in signing school district checks or orders until new facsimile signature plates are acquired."
