Shannon Grabko elected board president; Felch, Xiong and Bliven also chosen

The D C Everest Area School District board voted on May 20 to select new officers for the 2026–27 year, elevating Shannon Grabko to board president. Nominations were opened by Lindsey Lewitzke, and after a call for additional nominations Grabko was elected by voice vote.
Katie Felch was elected vice president by voice vote after Lewitzke nominated her; Larry Schaefer nominated Yee Leng Xiong for treasurer and Felch nominated Ben Bliven for clerk, both of whom were elected by voice vote. Lewitzke told the board she had "spoken with those not present, and they were fine with any position to which they were elected." The transcript records no opposing votes to those voice elections.
