Trustees agreed on a recommendation to transfer $400,000 of the 2024–2025 surplus to Fund 46 and to allow approximately $137,000 to return to the general fund balance. The minutes state the Board agreed the move would help State Aid calculations, support capital improvements and sustain referendum investments long-term.
Earlier in the meeting Sharon Formoe moved to approve the agenda with a procedural change (moving the budget item after the Science Olympiad presentation); Ben Mrdutt seconded and the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:41 p.m. on a motion by Ben Mrdutt, seconded by Sharon Formoe; a roll-call vote recorded Carlsrud, Fetzer, Formoe, Mrdutt and Olson voting 'Yes'. No separate roll-call vote on the Fund 46 recommendation is recorded in the minutes.
