Commissioners approve two Parsons inspection task orders for subdivision and AT&T fiber work

Mike Growski of the Boone County Highway Department presented two Parsons Transportation task orders and secured commissioner approval for both.
For the Courtyards at Heritage Trail subdivision (near 400 South and 800 East), Growski said inspection services will be provided hourly as needed under a task order not to exceed "$102,000" without prior authorization; as a condition of the right-of-way permit, the permit holder will reimburse the county for inspection services. The board moved to approve the task order and voted aye.
Growski also asked the commission to approve a part‑time, as‑needed Parsons inspection task order for AT&T fiber optic installation along County Road 500 East, noting the task order is not to exceed "$54,000" without prior authorization and that the permit holder will reimburse the county for costs. Commissioners approved that task order as presented.
Both task orders formalize inspection services for private permits and specify that inspection costs will be reimbursed by permit holders, while setting not-to-exceed ceilings for county authorization.
