Representative Wright presented House Bill 25-50, explaining that the Hunting for Heroes Act would allow a member of the Tennessee National Guard with a valid U.S. military ID (and verification from the Adjutant General's office) to be qualified for a no-cost sportsman's license in the same manner as a residential annual sportsman's license. "With that brief explanation, I ask for your affirmative support," Representative Wright said.
The clerk reported a unanimous committee vote of 14 ayes, 0 nays. The committee approved the bill and referred it to the Finance Committee for further consideration. No recorded amendments or extended debate took place during the session.
