Quinlan ISD holds brief special meeting; approves roof and HVAC contracting steps

The Quinlan ISD Board of Trustees convened a special meeting Dec. 2 in the Joe Martin Administration Board Room. Board President Kenny Stone called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.; a quorum was present with Billie Miller absent. There were no items listed for the Open Forum.
During the meeting Jeff Irvin presented proposals for roofing and HVAC projects. The board approved two motions authorizing contracting with outside specialists to develop design specifications and to assist with the bid and scoring processes for those projects. Both motions were moved by Rusty Case and carried 6-0 (the HVAC motion was seconded by Dale Chreene; the roofing motion was seconded by Todd Darter). Board President Kenny Stone adjourned the meeting at 6:39 p.m. by unanimous consent.
