Elliott Ortiz, Director of Athletics, told the Board that two high‑school students, identified as Taylor and Sophia, won events at the Texas Relays track meet held at the University of Texas in Austin. Ortiz also reported results from the Texas State Powerlifting Meet: "Taulepeti won the gold medal and set an all‑time record for total weight at 1885 lbs. for the 3A division," and Destynee S. finished with the silver, which the report notes is the first girls' medal for Randolph in that competition.
Ortiz presented the results as part of his regular athletic update; the Board did not take action on the report. The achievements were noted alongside routine campus updates from principals and district staff.
