Chairman Vaughn opened closing remarks by telling the committee that the Feb. 4 meeting was the last one chaired by Clark Boyd: "this is our last meeting with Chairman Clark Boyd at the helm of our illustrious group, he has done a fantastic job at the helm." The outgoing chair thanked members and said he would miss chairing the subcommittee and that he expects to serve as majority whip going forward.
The chair adjourned the subcommittee without objection. Members offered brief farewell remarks in appreciation of his service. The committee's business concluded and the subcommittee was adjourned.
