Trustee Dana Miller, chair of the Legal/Ordinance Committee, told the board the village has issued two recent building permits including for a large accessory building and that inspection and outreach on nuisance properties has shown some progress. Miller reported that Scooter's is ready to break ground and that Dairy Queen has begun interior demolition as part of its planned work; she also said there is a possible buyer interested in the Wiegmann property.
Village Engineer and Zoning Administrator Tim Pruett was noted as the staff contact handling permitting and coordination. The committee also reviewed Freedom of Information Act requests; no formal recommendations or new ordinances were recorded in the minutes.
