Elementary, secondary and AFB representatives report campus events and partnership opportunities

Principal Tracey Bandy told the board that February is Kindness Month at Randolph Elementary, reviewed professional development activities, and previewed campus events including Academic UIL on March 1, Read Across America with high‑school students visiting elementary classrooms, and a Kinder Texas Pride Choir concert on March 12.
Vice‑Principal Matt Atwell reported secondary school successes and upcoming events: bowling teams qualified for the regional meet; FBLA has 11 students advancing to state competition in Round Rock; a senior qualified for state solo/ensemble; four art students advanced to regional BASE; the high‑school concert band advanced to regionals; and 75 middle‑school students medaled at Academic UIL. Randolph AFB command representative Angela Green reported a contact for a cybersecurity professor to meet middle‑school students and the potential NCAA Final Four Trophy Tour stop on March 13 or 14.
