Quinlan ISD board reviews September finances showing $4.17M revenue and $5.59M in expenditures

At its Oct. 21 meeting, the Quinlan Independent School District Board of Trustees received the district's monthly budget report from Chief Financial Officer Rebecca Pfeil.
"Total Revenues for September 2024 were $4,168,538.71 with expenditures of $5,592,169.62," Pfeil told the board, adding the cash flow ending balance was $46,658,281.81 and that taxes collected for September were $74,837.90. The figures were presented as part of the regular financial update with attachments provided to the board.
The report gives trustees a snapshot of year-to-date activity and liquidity. Pfeil also reviewed revenue and expenditure categories in the attachments provided; board members did not request additional public action on the report during the meeting. The board followed the presentation with routine agenda business and moves into separate action items for budget amendments.
