Supervisor Ron McAnulty presented a document outlining the history of elected salary increases and noted that salary increases must be adopted at least 180 days prior to the April 1 election. After discussion, trustees considered and approved separate motions to adjust compensation for elected positions.
Jeromy Johnson moved to increase the Road Commissioner salary to $45,000; Mike Cole seconded and the motion passed unanimously. David Spence moved to raise the Supervisor salary to $23,000, seconded by Jeromy Johnson, and the trustees approved it. Jeromy Johnson moved to increase the Clerk salary to $11,000, with Evan Bryant seconding; that motion also passed. Finally, David Spence moved and Jeromy Johnson seconded a motion to raise trustees' pay to $125 per meeting; trustees voted in favor of that motion as well. All salary-related motions were recorded in the minutes as "All in favor, motion carried."
