GM reports district balance and pending grants; staff to reconcile bills

The GM warned that without significant grant funding the district would need to prioritize which engineering or environmental work it could complete.
Staff said they will review vendor bills and cost estimates, confirm what can be covered by current funds and provide refined estimates for progressing from 30% to 60–80% design and for the EIR. Board members asked whether county finance system changes would affect district bookkeeping and whether the district should expect higher costs under the county's upcoming Workday transition; staff said the county system can handle special district needs but details on costs are still unclear.
