The council approved an additional-appropriations resolution that moves money to multiple funds for capital projects and services.
Councilwoman Konejny read the resolution authorizing appropriations across general, ceded, police equipment, public-safety, community capital development, general improvements, local roads and streets, and TIF accounts. Notable approved amounts included $240,000 for tree removal (ceded fund) and $1,000,000 for a Clear Lake Parking lot project (Redevelopment TIF). Other approvals included $21,000 for police equipment, $135,000 for a fire training facility driveway/fence, and multiple consulting and IT service line items.
The council opened the required public hearing, heard no public comment, and approved the appropriations by voice vote. The clerk/treasurer and staff were acknowledged for assembling grants and funding for the tree-removal effort.
