"This is a preliminary plat... the planning board has reviewed this request and does recommend approval," the planner said.
Commissioners asked clarifying questions about jurisdictional matters and how the plat connects to neighboring subdivisions; staff said the town of Walnut Creek had voluntarily relinquished a related jurisdictional interest earlier in the year. The planning board recommended approval and the item will return to the board as it proceeds through final plat review.
