Board approves consent agenda including interlocal agreements for School Resource Officers

By unanimous vote the board approved a consent agenda that included minutes, financial reports, personnel resignations, the T-TESS appraiser list, legal services agreement, and interlocal agreements with the cities of Fate, Heath, Rockwall and Rockwall County for School Resource Officers for 2024–2025.
The Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda on Aug. 19 by a 6–0 vote. Items approved included minutes from prior regular and special sessions, July 2024 financial highlights and reports, the annual investment report for the year ended June 30, 2024, August budget memos and amendments, purchasing cooperative report, donations, personnel resignations, the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) qualified appraiser list, and a legal services agreement.
The consent agenda also authorized interlocal agreements with the cities of Fate, Heath and Rockwall and with Rockwall County to provide School Resource Officers (SROs) for the 2024–2025 school year. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Dr. Bart Miller and seconded by Dr. Sherry Packer.
