Rockdale ISD board enters closed session, returns and adjourns after unanimous motions

At a special session on Jan. 13, 2025, the Rockdale Independent School District Board of Trustees voted to enter closed session at 3:06 p.m. The motion to enter closed session was made by Amy Casas and seconded by Jason Barcak; the minutes record the motion as carried by a 6-0 vote. The minutes further record the board returned to open session at 5:26 p.m.
Following the return to open session the board took a motion to adjourn. The motion to adjourn was made by Julia Cardona, seconded by Amy Casas, and the minutes state the motion carried 6-0. The meeting adjourned at 5:27 p.m. The minutes also note there were no public comments during the public forum portion of the meeting.
