Royal ISD approves Educentric contract exceeding $50,000 to support campus improvement

The Royal Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously June 29 to approve a contract with Educentric for a purchase exceeding $50,000.
Dr. Pape told trustees that Educentric "will partner with Administration to support and create processes" and noted the firm "assisted with RES and she strongly believes they are the reason why the District has seen improvement at that campus." The motion, made by Cori Vahalik and seconded by Melissa Woods, passed with all voting trustees in favor.
During discussion Trustee Elton Foster asked about the responsibilities of the service and the board recorded administration's explanation that Educentric would work with district leaders on process development and school improvement supports.
