Campus principals described progress-monitoring and social-emotional learning initiatives at Rockdale Elementary (PBIS Reboot and community events), engagement events and instructional strategies at the intermediate level (Vocabulary Parade; QSSSA strategies), and the junior high's library reopening and UIL participation. Rockdale High School updates emphasized student organizations, career-readiness programs and industry trips.
Assistant Superintendent Kathy Pelzel reviewed the district Balanced Scorecard with an emphasis on facility management and operational processes to support increased enrollment. Assistant Superintendent Tiffany Whitsel outlined enhanced safety measures including collaborations with law enforcement, regular risk assessments and cybersecurity training. Athletic Director Hunter Hamrick reported season summaries for football, volleyball and cross country and previewed the upcoming junior high and high school basketball seasons and the Little Dribblers program.
