Board approves Superintendent Support Plan and renews employee contracts for 2026–27
Summary

Following an executive session beginning at 8:09 p.m., the board returned to open session at 9:17 p.m. and approved a Superintendent Support Plan. The motion to approve the plan was moved by Board Member Myrna Hernandez, seconded by Board Member Axel Lopez, and passed by recorded vote.
The board also approved renewals for employee contracts for the 2026–2027 school year in a separate motion moved by Board Member Alexis Tellez and seconded by Board Member Monica Chavez; the motion passed with six votes in favor and one absence. The board considered, but took no action on, a proposed non-renewal of a term contract employee and authorized the superintendent to send notice if directed in future action.
