Board approves five-year MOU with Idaho Army National Guard for training at Coeur d'Alene Airport

Kim Stevenson, on the telephone, told commissioners the Idaho Army National Guard has trained at Coeur D'Alene Airport for several years and recently transitioned to a new battalion, requiring updated memorandum of understanding documents. "They recently transitioned to a new battalion. Therefore, they needed to update their MOU documents... we are requesting approval of a 5 year agreement," Stevenson said.
Stevenson said staff met with battalion leaders to review training, equipment and reporting requirements. After a motion and second, the board approved the five-year MOU allowing continued Guard training at the airport under updated terms.
