Summary

Nick Snyder of Parks and Waterways asked commissioners to approve a one-year extension of an existing grant from the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation to complete the boat-garage replacement project. "Before you, we do a 1 year grant extension with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation for the boat garage replacement project... that extension provides the county with an additional year to complete the construction," Snyder said, and noted the extension carries "no cost to the county."
The extension increases the project schedule but does not change the county's fiscal commitment, according to Snyder. A motion to approve grant amendment WW26-1-28-1, including a $700,000 grant amount and associated cash-match entries identified in the packet, passed by recorded vote.
