Round Top–Carmine ISD adopts 2024–25 tax rate of $0.7239 per $100

Trustee Michael Sacks moved to adopt an ordinance setting the maintenance and operations (M&O) rate at $0.6969 and the interest and sinking (I&S) rate at $0.0270; Trustee Clint Eilers seconded the motion, and the minutes record that the motion carried.
The combined rate is $0.7239 per $100 of assessed value (the meeting minutes list a total as "$ 7239," which appears to be a typographical error; the combined rate of the two published components is $0.7239). The board also set a Tax Ratification Election for Nov. 5, 2024 during the same meeting.
