District staff presented the annual Career and Technical Education report for Eureka High School, highlighting pathway offerings, dual enrollment growth and expansion plans.
Presenters described large CTE enrollments—about 416 students across agricultural and related technical courses—and said pathway completers increased from 50 to 66 over two years. “We have 26 learners in our Education 1 course this year,” a presenter said when describing a new education pathway. The report outlined partnerships with Humboldt County Office of Education for building trades placements, plans for a county "trades day" on April 23 and proposed new pathways in health, business and computer science to align coursework with workforce demand.
