The committee considered a late-filed resolution (sponsors Welsh and Johnston) approving a participation agreement between the Metropolitan Government and Veridis LLC to provide public water service improvements for the proposed 563 Veridis development and other nearby properties.
The chair moved the item forward in the meeting. After a motion and second and no committee discussion, the chair called the vote and the committee recommended approval, 7 in favor, 0 against, 0 not voting.
"This is a resolution approving a participation agreement between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting through the Department of Water and Sewage Services and 563 Veridis LLC to provide public water service improvements for 563 Veridis proposed development as well as other existing properties in the area," the chair said when reading the caption.
Because the item was recommended for approval with no further discussion, the action will proceed to the next formal step in the council's process for final consideration.
