The Metro Human Relations Commission on Tuesday acknowledged a FY2026 budget-to-actual report and directed staff to provide an updated payroll run once system corrections are complete.
Crystal, the commission's finance presenter, told the commission the total FY2026 budget amount was "$1,476,100" and that total actuals as of 07/15/2026 were "$1,090,779.79." She said some invoices remain open and that a post‑print "true up" will change object-account numbers.
Commissioner McKinney questioned a wide range of reported monthly salary values—"we got everything here from $30,000 all the way up to a $117,000"—and asked staff what a normal monthly salary should look like. Crystal said Oracle implementation and two new employees contributed to anomalies and committed to circulate corrected payroll figures before the next meeting.
Chair moved to acknowledge the budget report for the month's meeting. The commission voted to acknowledge the report by voice vote; Chair said the report was "duly acknowledged."
