Business Manager Leonel Olivarez told the San Isidro ISD Board of Trustees that the district budget shows only $675 allocated to counseling and guidance and that federal funds will cover only half of the expected costs, meaning the district must amend the budget to cover the remainder.
Oliva rez presented the tax-collection and expenditure reports for September and October and called attention to the counseling line item. "The budget only allocated $675.00 for this function; however, federal money is only going to pay half," Olivarez said, and recommended that trustees consider a budget amendment at the next regular meeting to correct the shortfall. Trustees did not take immediate action; the item will return for formal amendment and vote.
