During the June 15 meeting the Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees set aside time to recognize a range of district achievements: substitutes of the month and the Rockwall Area Small Business Alliance (RASBA); UIL State Solo and Ensemble Gold and Silver medalists; GBCCA State and National awards for Business Professionals of America (BPA) students; and Rockwall High School's baseball team for reaching the state semifinals. Dr. Bart Miller led the Pledges of Allegiance and the invocation at the start of the recognitions section.
