At the Oct. 21 meeting the Board voted to accept a settlement agreement with the Woodland Park Education Association concerning DCRP contributions; the motion carried 7 YES with one NO (Glen Grimes).
The Board also ratified a shared services agreement with the Borough to provide a Special Class II officer for ESY for a not‑to‑exceed cost of $4,800.48 plus $3,675 for certification training. Separately, the Board ratified a contract with Geese Police to provide geese control at Memorial Field, Memorial Middle School and School 1 at a rate of $505 per week for the term April 1, 2024–March 31, 2025.
The transportation contract with NRESC/Omar Tours for route Q3685 (Allegro School) was approved at an estimated cost of $13,530.00 plus $811.80 for service covering 9/27/24–11/29/24. These finance and contract items were presented under regular agenda finance items and approved by roll calls recorded in the meeting minutes.
