At an April 7 work session summarized for the April 14 meeting, trustees reported progress on several local development matters. Chairman Bornmueller said the village's review of Starbucks plans is complete and the project now awaits St. Louis County approval before construction can begin.
The Planning & Zoning Board recommended approval of a proposed lot consolidation for a Take 5 Oil Change site, and Ameren substation consolidation plans have been received and are under engineer review for comments. Trustees were asked to review a revised sewer lateral program and a draft container ordinance and submit comments before attorney review.
Trustees will continue to track the car lot lease/sign situation and review preliminary logo concepts for the village; the work-session notes directed clerical and staff follow-up where needed.
