Yard waste drop-off and electronics recycling collection set for Aug. 8

Upper St. Clair announced a yard waste drop-off at Boyce Compost Site from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and an electronics recycling collection at the community and recreation center from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8; compostable paper bags and branch-size rules apply.
Public works staff asked residents to mark their calendars for Saturday, August 8 for collection events. Yard waste drop-off will be open at the Boyce Compost Site from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.; residents were reminded to place yard waste in compostable paper bags and to bundle tree trimmings or branches under 4 feet long.
An electronics recycling collection will run the same day at the community and recreation center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The township directed residents to twpusc.org/trashandrecycling for a full list of accepted items and additional guidelines.
