Indoor aquatics area to close Aug. 9 for maintenance; outdoor pool to remain open

Recreation staff announced that the township’s indoor aquatics area will close beginning August 9 for “a series of improvement projects, preventative maintenance, and deep cleaning.” The announcement said the outdoor pool will remain open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will continue to offer lap swimming, water walking and water exercise before and after normal hours.
The statement also noted the facility’s annual indoor closure, scheduled August 30 through September 4. Recreation staff said more details about the projects and any temporary program changes would be released later in the month.
