Following the proclamation, several 4‑H participants addressed the court. Samuel Howlett, introduced himself and told commissioners, "4‑H has given me well, I wanna, when I grow up, I wanna be a Supreme Court Judge and 4‑H has given me these 0.25 experiences much like this 1." Other youth described leadership and project experiences ranging from equine therapy to poultry projects and thanked the court for the recognition.
The proclamation highlights the program's statewide reach and its stated mission of fostering head, heart, hands and health learning experiences for young people. Commissioners encouraged continued public support for youth development programs in the county.
