The board approved contracts for vehicle maintenance, parts and services (RFP #24-01), HVAC maintenance and parts (RFP #24-03), facilities maintenance and electrical parts (RFP #24-04), and special education services (RFP #24-05). The board also received information about cooperative purchases made through BuyBoard ($323,169), DIR ($462,170) and Sourcewell ($141,334), for a combined total of $926,673. The consent agenda passed on a motion by Ben Amador, seconded by Carl Jenkins; the vote was recorded as Ayes: Amador, Crettenden, Duncan, Guerra, Jenkins and Mueller; Nays: None.
Board members said the contracts had been competitively solicited and met RFP requirements; staff noted the approved vendors will remain eligible through the current contract term ending June 30, 2026, and for one year thereafter. The board’s action keeps multiple vendor lists active for district procurement and continues existing cooperative purchasing arrangements.
