SBA outlines disaster loan help for Central Texas flood survivors

Nunez said Economic Injury Disaster Loans are available to small businesses and nonprofits in contiguous counties and that applicants do not need to own a business to apply. "The maximum business loan is $2,000,000," she said, and described below-market interest rates, loan terms up to 30 years and a 12-month first-payment deferral. She asked the court to help disseminate program information via county channels and offered targeted outreach to impacted businesses.
Nunez provided application guidance: apply at sba.gov/disaster or by calling the number listed in her presentation; she noted the deadline for EIDL applications as April 6 and encouraged early outreach to SBA customer-service representatives for application assistance.
