Community Development Director Raffy Boylan gave several administrative updates at the Dec. 10 meeting: the planning commission's next regular meeting is scheduled for Jan. 14, 2025, and staff is working to schedule a study session on the Harvest project and a series of public outreach meetings. Boylan said the applicant has hosted community outreach events and the city will post revised materials on its website once available.
Boylan also updated the commission on a vacancy created by Commissioner Medrano's resignation and said the mayor has interviewed at least one candidate and that another interview is planned. The city has extended the application period, and staff expects to have a new member in place in early January if interviews proceed as planned.
