The council renewed several liquor licenses, including Weinstein’s Liquors (Dai Lee Corp.), Lake Como Wine Shop, Discount Wine and Liquors, Joe’s Surf Shack, Bar Anticipation, and La Sierra Restaurant (and a pocket license for Stacey 5 Star LLC). Representatives for each license were present and the Police Department registered no objections.
Mayor Higgins announced a change to one license restriction: the escrow for Bar Anticipation will be increased "to $15,000.00 from $10,000.00," and licensee Reggie Hyde indicated he was "fine with that change." These renewals were approved by roll call votes recorded in the minutes.
