SGISD approves consent agenda, No Pass/No Play exemptions, adjunct faculty agreements and policy update

The Santa Gertrudis ISD Board of Trustees approved a package of administrative and policy items on Aug. 26, 2024. Trustee April Grigg moved to approve the consent agenda (finance reports; minutes from July 22 and Aug. 5; Kleberg County Appraisal District proposed budget; estimated certified values); Trustee Jennifer Cash seconded and the motion passed unanimously (6-0).
Separately, the board approved the List of Courses for No Pass/No Play exemptions on a motion by Trustee Jennifer Cash (seconded by Trustee LeeRoy Montalvo) and approved adjunct faculty agreements and resolutions with the Nueces County Extension Service, Jim Wells County Extension Service and Kleberg-Kenedy County Extension Service (motion by Trustee LeeRoy Montalvo, seconded by Trustee Oscar Cortez). Trustee Carmen Falcon moved to approve the EIC local policy update; Trustee April Grigg seconded and the motion passed unanimously. These items were recorded as passed with six votes in favor and none opposed in the meeting minutes.
