Polk County selects Redpath & Company for 2026–2028 audits
Summary
The Polk County Board adopted Resolution 2026-39 selecting Redpath and Company, Ltd. to perform independent auditing services for fiscal years ending Dec. 31, 2026, 2027 and 2028; the board also authorized the county administrator and finance director to execute the engagement.
Finance Director Stacy Grover told the board the Selection Committee evaluated proposals from three firms — Hoffman, Philipp & Martell, PLLC; BerganKDV; and Redpath and Company, Ltd. — using criteria that included governmental auditing experience, engagement team, methodology and price. The committee unanimously recommended Redpath and the board adopted Resolution 2026-39 on July 21, 2026.
Commissioner Pape seconded the resolution and the board authorized the County Administrator and Finance Director to execute the engagement letter and related documents. The resolution covers independent auditing services for fiscal years ending December 31, 2026, 2027 and 2028.
