DSPD: new support-coordination contract went live July 1; ISO process and subcontracting questions answered

Marcy, a representative from the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD), said the new external support coordination contract, number 91258, went live on July 1 and replaces contract 90828; she said the new scope of work is posted on the purchasing website and that the link will be added to chat. "The new contract is 91258, and it's replacing 90828," she said.
When asked whether people switching providers must go through an ISO (individual support options) process, Marcy said support coordinators should send ISOs to review provider options unless a client or guardian specifically requests a provider. On subcontracting, Spencer and Marcy said subcontracting requires prior written consent of DHHS; Marcy noted currently subcontracting is limited, for example to host homes and certain recently granted services such as massage therapy.
