The Recreation Committee urged council to suspend parking meters for the holiday season from Dec. 9 through Jan. 6; council will vote on that recommendation at next week’s meeting. Amy Lau said the committee also proposed charging Windsor Township $1,000 for a seasonal field rental with Windsor Township assisting in field maintenance (excluding mowing).
Committee recommendations included a $50 committal fee for Food Truck Fridays and, for larger events, $50 plus 20% of gross sales to simplify revenue collection. The Halloween Parade commercial registration fee was proposed to increase from $25 to $35 per unit and be limited to two units. The Leo Center rental was proposed at $50 per hour with a $100 security deposit and will be added to the borough fee schedule.
