Council members discussed whether pedestrian-crossing patterns are a school-district responsibility and whether the Public Safety Committee should research traffic and pedestrian safety. Evan Hiester said a traffic study is planned for spring. Tony Musso cautioned about law-enforcement staffing options and noted that Act 120 certification is required to issue traffic tickets.
