Newly elected Red Lion officials sworn in at organizational meeting

At its Jan. 5, 2026 organizational meeting, Red Lion Borough administered the Oath of Office to the mayor-elect, four council members and the tax collector. The meeting then moved to council reorganization and a slate of appointments for the year ahead.
Samantha Craley-Byerts, assistant solicitor and notary public, administered the Oath of Office to Mayor-Elect Aleksa (Ali) Keithan and newly elected council members Antonio Musso, Cynthia Barley, Shauntia Phillips and Chris Minnich. Michael Zelger was sworn in as Tax Collector.
The swearing-in preceded the council’s reorganization and a series of appointments for 2026. The meeting record shows the new officials immediately took up procedural business, including leadership nominations and confirmations of legal and engineering advisors for the borough.
