Lockport council approves $63,554 purchase from IT reserve for VoIP phone system

Resolution 102324.4, moved by Alderman Mullane and seconded by Alderman Craig, authorized the use of $63,554.20 from H203, which the resolution records as having $79,496.55 in unused and unencumbered funds. The resolution instructs purchase from vendor Rel Comm, Inc., subject to council approval, and was adopted by a 5–0 vote.
The resolution says the IT funds are for upkeep of systems, utility improvements, structures, and equipment and cites a proposal by the Network Coordinator of IT recommending the phone-system purchase.
