The Center Cass SD 66 Board voted unanimously to adopt Panorama as the district's state-approved survey instrument to replace the 5Essentials. The motion (moved by Megan DuPass, seconded by Adam Sage) passed 7-0 after administration said the tool meets state requirements and scheduling details were discussed.
Dr. Wise explained the change in practice: "Panorama is an approved State Survey assessment and meets all requirements to replace the 5 Essentials." He added the district will administer Panorama twice yearly and parents will no longer need to take the 5Essentials survey; the first Panorama survey will be released mid-September.
