The St. Helena Unified School District Board of Trustees approved a Facilities Master Plan, including educational specifications, at its April 16 meeting and delegated authority to Superintendent Dr. Kay Vang to finalize guaranteed maximum price negotiations for the elementary school project and award Amendment #1 to the contractor upon DSA approval.
Consultants from Motive Studio and Greystone West outlined needs at St. Helena High School — recoating and new turf, drainage corrections in the quad and on the field, and adding air conditioning in the gym — and said the elementary project remains delayed pending DSA stamping. The board voted unanimously to approve the plan (motion by Lisa Pelosi; second by Shawn Moura; Aye: Jeannie Kerr, Lisa Pelosi, Laura Symon, Shawn Moura, Jeanmarie Wolf).
