Landowners press city on septic risk and exact easement footage

However, Maynard also said engineers did not excavate to verify as‑built underground locations. “We didn’t go survey where their actual system is… the only way to truly verify where it is is to dig it up,” he said. The exchange left unresolved whether additional targeted surveying should be required before easement acquisition advances.
