Staff explained the parcel had previously been paying rent to the fair board before county ownership was clarified and that the updated lease corrects that error and increases the annual amount from the prior $500 to $650.
Commissioners asked basic questions about the equipment and the use of the site; staff said the county did not have technical details about the FAA equipment and only that the FAA required continued occupation of the premises.
